Fitting the Snore Guard

Step 1 - Boil 2-3 Minutes
Step 2 - Fit to upper teeth
Step 3 - Guide mandible into lower portion
Step 4 - Trim

Step 3

Bite firmly into the bottom portion, ensuring that the lower anteriors engage the ramp, and keep biting for 30 seconds. (Fig. 5)

Remove and review checklist.

 

Checklist

q       Maxillary teeth are centered in the appliance

q       Maxillary teeth are seated as deeply as possible without hitting hard plastic.

q       Mandible can move laterally.

 

 

If you answered yes to all of the above, proceed with trimming. If you answered no to any of the above, repeat the fitting procedure.
